The world's rivers are at risk, mainly due to human interferences. So, what will the future of our rivers look like? Under the theme "Rivers - Connecting Mountains and Coasts", the 40th IAHR World Congress will provide a platform to address and discuss these challenges in the vicinity of the Danube, the second largest river in Europe.
